The Regular Hi-Fidelity Player is one of two custom built players on HitSend, and is optimized for production and mixing review.

The most important part is that HitSend offers Flawless Audio quality, meaning clients can stream full quality WAV and AIFF files. Not only does the HitSend player give you the best audio quality possible, it lets you customize the experience with Volume Normalization, A/B comparisons, and even gives the ability to add album art for the project.

Player Overview

Waveform

At the top of the player page is the track waveform, showing the dynamics of the audio, as well as how far you have listened on the track. Move throughout the track by clicking on the place you would like to jump to, or use the player controls at the bottom to skip back to the start of the track.

Select section

Choose a region of the waveform for comments, or to loop a section by clicking and dragging the region you wish to select on a desktop device, or by dragging over the section on a touch device. Once the region is selected, you can resize the selection with the orange handles to expand or shrink the region. To remove the selection, simply click or tap outside the selection on the region, or use the "Clear" button located at the top of the screen.

Track List

The track list shows you the names, length, and version with each track currently in the playlist. The purple highlight bar indicates which track is currently playing, and you can switch this by double clicking on a track on desktop, or clicking on the play icon that appears when hovering over a track. On a mobile device, simply tap on the track you wish to play.

Select Version

Tracks go through multiple versions and HitSend is the central hub to easily compare different versions side by side.

Download Tracks

If download permissions are enabled, you can download individual tracks by selecting the download option on the far right column in the player screen, or viewing the versions dialog and selecting the download icon for the version you wish to bring down to your local machine.

Timecoded Comments

Do away with the long email chains and switch to Timecoded Comments that are attached to each track and can be seen on the right hand side of the screen on desktop, or by selecting the Comments tab on a mobile device.

With Timecoded comments, your clients can reference exactly where they want revisions to occur, and you can download the comments as a text document, or as a MIDI file and import the comments as markers directly into Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase, or Studio One to streamline your revision process.

In addition to listening to a track, you can view a comprehensive overview of the metadata imbedded in each track by selecting the "Details" tab and view the following metadata:
