To give you more brand recognition, and also to avoid your clients replying to a HitSend email address and then wondering why you never answered their question, you can link your own business or personal email address.

This can be done in your settings under the integrations tab, where you will see the label Email.

Settings > Integrations > Email

By default, email invites are sent from the notifications address at HitSend.io.

To update the address start by selecting the button on the right that says "Connect email". This will bring up a dialog window that has pre-filled the email address you have active for your account. You can decide to use a different email address at any time, and you can always change the address in the future if you wish.

To proceed, select the purple "Add" button on the bottom right of the dialog window.

Once you have added the email address you should see the email you added displaying with a (pending) tag at the end. This does not mean that emails will come from that address yet as it has not been verified, only that the verification process is underway.

To verify your newly added email address, log into the email account you added and look for an email with the subject line below:

Amazon Web Services – Email Address Verification Request in region US East (N. Virginia)

NOTE:

If you do not see an email from Amazon Web Services, make sure to check your spam folder.

Once you have received the email, you will need to click the verification link provided in the email as shown below.

After clicking the verification link you will be redirected to a confirmation page that verifies your email address has been verified and that emails can be sent from your address.

Lastly, if you now look in your HitSend settings you should see that the tag next to your email address now reads (Verified) and any email invites you send to project members will now come from your address.
