To turn timestamped comments on HitSend into markers in your Logic Session, start by loading in the track you wish to download comments for in the player screen.

Once the track has loaded, select the download icon on the right side of the comments section, input the BPM of the track to ensure the timecode matches, and then choose Logic before downloading.

Once you have downloaded your comments startup Logic and select File > New Project.

NOTE:

You CANNOT import comments into an already existing project. You must create a new one, but can save the project and then import its markers to an already existing session.

After selection open, navigate the Finder window that appears until you located your downloaded file. Choose it and click open to create a new Logic Session.

Workflow Tip

If you already have placed markers you can create a new Marker Set for your comments

Go to “Import” and select “Logic Projects” then choose your recently created project with your timestamped comments as markers.

This will open an import session menu, and all you need to select is Marker Track. You do not need to bring in the whole MIDI file from the previous project.

Once Marker track is selected, click “Add”, and your comments will appear on your timeline

NOTE:

Replies are not included in the MIDI downloads. If you wish to view replies to comments, download a text file which will contain all of the comments and their replies.
